It seems that as compensation, Sony will give users a welcome pack called “Welcome Back”. This pack is expected to contain 30 days of PlayStation Plus, two PlayStation 3 games from a list of five, and two PSP games from a list of four.

Updated: In Japan, the government (through the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) has banned the restoration of PSN until Sony demonstrates that security measures have actually been increased.
