Something that I did not expect when I contracted the domain and the host was that I would run out of bandwidth 7 months after starting to use it, but it was something that I had already expected a couple of months ago when the blog reached 800 daily visits on average and the bandwidth did not stop going up.
It may be a temporary situation and as soon as the Resident Evil 4 craze passes I will stop having so many visits, but now I find myself in the difficult task of taking the next step, since the host contract lasts until September and I hope that in no month until then the blog will go down.
What to do once the time has come? Change host? Personally, I have my eye on Dreamhost, which has more than acceptable bandwidth (We are talking about terabytes), although there are still months to do it and first I will have to see what MBI offers me.
The problem is that I have contracted the domain at the same time as the host, so I still can’t keep the domain… Can anyone in the know tell me how to change hosts while keeping the domain?
Thanks in advance.
